Named after our friend Lucas who wrote this recipe, this Schwarzbier (German for dark beer) uses cacao nibs from Emkao in Mission to create an easy drinking dry lager with a roasted chocolatey twist. Smooth malt character is balanced with German hops providing a floral + fruity background. This beer is great, just like Lucas.
Malt: Rahr-Pilsner, Gamb-Munich Light, WY-Carafa Special II, Simp-Crystal Light, Simp-Chocolate, Simp-Peated
Hops: Zeus, Hallertau Mittelfruh, Saphir
